He is saying “I figure if we are experiencing ‘global warming’, I might as well make the most of it!” The setting of this cartoon is in some sort of arctic or extremely cold region where polar bears exist. The main symbol in this cartoon is a polar bear relaxing because he knows he will become extinct soon. The overall message in this is that we need to stop global warming in order to keep the polar bears safe from extinction. This is very effective because it is funny and very true.
