this cartoon shows the relationship between canadians and americans. the canadians are saying that what the americans are giving them "looks safe enough". it makes fun of canadians, implying that we have too much trust for americans. the message is that the americans can be tricky and we shouldnt have so much trust in them. its effective because it uses mistakes from the past to show mistakes being made now.
I like this and it gives a good point. We are to naive, and we buy stuff that we "think" looks safe and don't test it and it ends up causeing problems like the toys from china
