Good Morning, Last year we learned about how the Americans won Independence and we have just learned how Canada separated from Britain. Today we will look at some of the other British colonies and what happened to them.
First, pick a former British colony. (It is better if you don't ALL choose the same one) You can search for "former British Colonies" for a complete list.
Next answer the following questions about it IN YOUR OWN WORDS
1. What was the name of the Colony, where is it located?
2. When and how did it become a British colony?
3. What were the main economic activities in the colony, in other words, how did it benefit Britain?
4. How did the colony gain Independence?
5. Any other interesting things that you learned about this colony?
Now take a look at other peoples posts and see if you see anything in common with the British colonies.
